Shrink wrap and anti-corrosive covers for you products

It is possible to shrink wrap almost everything (no matter the size)! It is possible to wrap objects of any size, starting from smaller machines to large houses! The most corrosion-prone objects can be covered with special VCI covers (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) and the objects stay untouched by corrosion for at least two years. Anti-corrosive wrapping is done using VCI2000 products.

When using shrink wrap covers, the protective material is laid on the product to be protected and shrunk so that it fits tightly around the product. Unlike canvas, the covers fit tightly around the boat like a drumhead, keeping them from flapping in the wind and getting damaged, which is the secret behind their durability.

When transporting large objects by rail, land or ship transport, they are affected by natural forces, environmental conditions and other dangers. Shrink wrap covers protect against damage and staining which may occur during long ship and land transport in unfavourable weather conditions.

The thickness of industrial shrink wrap is usually 150 mic (6 mil) – 300 mic (12 mil). The shrink wrap is available in a width of up to 15 m and length of up to 130 m. The shrink wrap comes in neat rolls, making it possible to even be transported in a car. Therefore, it is possible to cover even very large objects with one sheet. It is also possible to heat weld one sheet to the next sheet. When packing small-sized products or a large amount of products of the same shape and size, we recommend ordering custom-made shrink wrap bags.

Use

Shrink wrap is suitable for wrapping almost everything from water skis to luxury yachts. It protects your valuable property during ship, rail and land transport and storage. Our covers are most often used when transporting oversized items. Shrink wrap only sticks to the shrink wrap and not the item, therefore it can be easily removed. In order to avoid unintentionally damaging the product, it is recommended to use a safety knife when removing the shrink wrap covers.

Storage
Note! Before storing the item under shrink wrap covers, it is necessary to wash and dry it.

Reasons for storing the product under Heat³ covers:
- Inexpensive but effective protection of products which are waiting to be transported or for the next step in the production process (covers which contain UV inhibitors will not become brittle for at least two years)
- It is possible to manufacture custom-made bags with specific dimensions, which speed up the process of covering the item
- The wrapped product stays clean (from dust and bird excrement)
- Protects against natural weathering resulting from UV rays, snow and rain

- The items can be wrapped completely or partially
- In the case of complete wrapping, it is possible to install zipper doors which can be used to assess the condition of the object, ventilate or continue working under the covers

- Zipper doors can be used to grant access to customs seals
- Humidity levels under the cover can be managed by special vents, minivents or humidity absorbers. This way you can minimise the possible damage resulting from mould and corrosion
